Earlier this year the Golden Steer Steak ‘n Rib House celebrated its 50th
anniversary in Kent. Now owned by Jim and Suzanne Berrios, Golden Steer
is more than just a restaurant for families and friends to share BBQ,
prime rib or Sunday brunch.
It is a place where guests can go to feel good about Kent.
Sustaining the founders’ belief in community involvement, the Berrios
family has carried on that tradition since buying therestaurant in
1999. They are active throughout Kent, catering the Kent Food Bank’s
annual fundraising breakfast as well as providing an annual Community
Thanksgiving Feast to feed the homeless, just to name a few charitable
causes the Golden Steer supports.
So if you’re visiting Kent and want a good, home cooked meal or meet a
family that really cares about Kent, check out the Golden Steer (23826
104th Ave. SE, Kent). You won’t be disappointed!
