Join music fans to hear The Kingston Trio this Fri., Oct. 2 at Kentwood Performing Arts Center (25800 164th Ave. SE,
Covington) for acoustic guitars, banjos, and simple yet memorable melodies. Sponsored by Pete and Pat Curran through the Kent Parks Foundation, The Kingston Trio is a Kent favorite. Kenny Endo Contemporary Ensemble, Fri., Oct. 16, 2015, 7:30 p.m.

Kent-Meridian Performing Arts Center

On Fri., Oct. 16, Kent music lovers will be treated to the sounds of the Kenny Endo Contemporary Ensemble at Kent-Meridian Performing
Arts Center (10020 SE 256th St., Kent). With roots firmly grounded in Japanese Taiko tradition, Kenny Endo stretches the genre by incorporating funk, jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Hawaiian elements. For his 40th†Anniversary, Kenny will embark on a nationwide tour.

Artists joining Endo are Abe Lagrimas (vibraphone, drums, ukulele), Kaoru Watanabe (Japanese bamboo flutes), Masaru Koga (flute, drums), Shoko Hikage (koto, dance), and Michihiro Sato (shamisen). Partial Funding from WESTAF, National Endowment for the Arts and Washington State Arts Commission. The event is also sponsored by Pete and Pat Curran through the Kent Parks Foundation.
